'DREAM FIEND' is the second release in the limited cassette series focusing on Ameel Brecht's "sleep" compositions.

Sinking deeper in the world of sleep, 'DREAM FIEND' strays into the glittering landscape of nightmares, of almost-forgotten fears and dream re-enactment disorders.

No mandolins or steel resonators on these 4 tracks, but a farfisa and other electronic keyboards reflecting the shining eyes of animals and ghouls in the dark.

I've wanted this album for a while now. It's hard to go wrong with the work of Eric Skodvin. When combined with Aaron Moore, they make for a strange pair. It's definitely the most concrete I've ever heard Skodvin sound, delivering upon darker jazz-like offerings paired with somewhat gothic electro-acoustic abstractions. The most enjoyable moment for me comes with the clobbering rhythmics found in "Grown Horse". More of whatever that is, please. Lost Tribe Sound
